 Do I need a federal tax ID (EIN) number?


The IRS (International Revenue Service) requires LLCs or corporations who intend on having employees or opening a bank account to obtain an EIN.

If you have a US Social Security Number (SSN) or individual tax identification number (ITIN), you can obtain your EIN by directly applying online using the IRS website (www.irs.gov).

Non US residents who own a company in the USA are oftenly experiencing difficulties to obtain their EIN as they cannot provide a valid SSN or ITIN. At Easy Corp Ltd we are pleased to assist non US residents to obtain their EIN using our express EIN obtainment service.

Please note that we only assist non US residents to obtain their EIN. We do not assist our clients with SSN or ITIN issues.

Our EIN express service is only available to business owners who do not have any SSN or ITIN. If you have already a valid SSN or ITIN then you need to obtain your EIN using the IRS website or by calling their dedicated phone line.

When using our express EIN service, we will apply on your behalf to obtain your tax number. You will receive by email your business tax ID within a few hours. The IRS confirmation letter (with your tax number written on the top) will be emailed to you within 24 hours after the validation of your order.

The cost of our express service is $235.

Can I obtain my EIN using your services even if I am not an US resident or citizen?

Yes you can. You do not need to be a US resident or a citizen of this country to obtain an EIN for your US business. In fact, we only assist non US residents to obtain the EIN for their business. We do not assist US based people as they can directly deal with the IRS using www.irs.gov to get quickly their tax number. Non US residents cannot use the electronic form from the IRS website and this is the reason why we have setup our EIN express service. I am a US resident and I have a valid SSN, can I still use your EIN service?

No, you cannot. Our EIN express service is for non US residents only with no valid SSN or ITIN. If you have already a SSN or ITIN then you must apply for your EIN using the IRS website. If you do not have a valid SSN or ITIN then you can use our express EIN service. Non US residents are very welcome!

Can you help me to obtain an ITIN?

No, we cannot. We do not obtain ITIN or SSN on behalf of our clients. We only assist non US residents to obtain an EIN (also named FEIN) for their US business.
